iMAGE is a project funded by the ANR (Agence nationale pour la Recherche) for the period 2022-2026 to study massive galaxies during the first three billion years of the Universe,
using data from the James Webb Space Telescope .
Our collaboration includes PhD students, postdocs and permanent researchers specialized in deep surveys and hydrodynamical simulations,
mainly from the Laboratoire d'Astrophysique de Marseille (LAM) and the Institut d'Astrophysique de Paris (IAP)
We recently reported the discovery of the most distant Einstein ring, with its in-depth characterization.
